About Black Humanists and Non-Believers of Sacramento

Where Black Secular Lives Matter

Our Purpose

We are the Black Humanists and Non-Believers of Sacramento, a committed meetup community providing a welcoming space for individuals who identify as humanists, atheists, agnostics, or skeptics.

We are committed to promoting humanist values and social justice within Sacramento and surrounding areas. We engage in critical discussions about religion, spirituality, and the role of secularism in the Black community.

We seek to educate ourselves and others about the need to replace religions with the values of humanism and social justice.

We actively participate in community service and advocate for social issues disproportionately affecting Black and marginalized communities.

We aim to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where members can explore and express their non-religious beliefs while working towards a more equitable society.

BHNBS: Where Black Secular Lives Matter

The purpose of BHNBS is to create a supportive community for Black humanists, atheists, agnostics, and skeptics, where they can engage in activities that promote social justice and reflect their secular worldview.
